Champion Trainer UK is a horse-racing management game run by a solo developer in the UK. This is the plain-English version of what we do with your data. Questions, or want your data removed? Email s1980amber@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your email address (to sign you in and, if you leave them on, to send you the odd update). The game data you create as you play — your stable, horses, notes and the like. Anything you post in the weighing room. And basic server logs (your IP address and the time of a request) that any website keeps to run securely.
Why we use it
Only to run your account and the game: sign you in, keep your stable, send your sign-in link and any updates you’ve opted into, keep the shared world working, and moderate the weighing room. Nothing else.
Who we share it with
Your email is sent through Resend, our email provider, so the messages actually reach you. That is the only third party. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Cookies & storage
A sign-in token that lives in your personal link, and the small service-worker file that lets the game install to your home screen. That’s it — no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
The weighing room
Posts there are public and carry your stable’s name, so keep personal details out of them. We can hide or remove anything out of order and block accounts, and reported posts are taken down automatically.
Keeping & deleting your data
You can delete your account and all your data at any time, right inside the game — the yard menu, then Account. It removes your stable and everything in it. Your past race results stay in the shared record but are anonymised, with your name removed. Email updates: turn them off from your yard, or unsubscribe from any email.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can complain to the ICO. To do any of that, just get in touch (below).
