Terms of use

The plain-English rules for playing Champion Trainer UK. Questions? Email s1980amber@gmail.com. See also our privacy policy.

Using the game

By playing Champion Trainer UK you agree to these terms. The game is for players aged 18 and over. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

It's a free beta

The game is free and still in development. It’s provided as-is: things may change, break, or go offline, your data or progress could be reset while we’re building, and we can add, change or stop features at any time. We’ll try not to lose your stable, but we can’t promise perfect uptime.

Your account

You sign in with a private link sent to your email — keep it to yourself, because anyone who has it can get into your stable. One account per person. You’re responsible for what happens on your account, and you can delete it any time from the Account page.

Fair play

Play it straight. Don’t try to cheat, exploit bugs, script or automate the game, overload the service, or interfere with other players’ enjoyment. We can suspend or remove any account that does.

The weighing room & anything you post

The weighing room lets you post to other players. You’re responsible for what you post, and there is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour — no harassment, hate, threats, illegal, sexual or offensive material, spam, or links. Every post can be reported and its author blocked, we remove any post that’s out of order, and reported posts are hidden automatically. Break this and your account can be removed without warning. Report problems to s1980amber@gmail.com and we’ll act quickly.

No betting, no real money

Champion Trainer UK is a management simulation, not a betting product. It uses real racing language — odds, starting prices, a morning tissue — to describe the racing, but you never place a bet. Nothing in the game involves real-money or staked gambling of any kind.

In-game items

Guineas, horses, silks and everything else in the game are virtual. They have no real-world value, can’t be sold or exchanged for money, and you don’t own them outside the game.

Whose stuff is what

The game, its design and its content belong to the developer. All the stable, owner, horse and jockey names in the game are fictional — any resemblance to real people or animals is coincidental.

The legal bit

The game is provided as-is, with no warranties. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can’t be limited. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales.
We’ll update this page if anything changes.
